Do you know the welding requirements for industrial waste gas treatment?

The welding performance of industrial waste gas equipment depends not only on the condition of the joint and the basic parameters of the welding manufacturing process, but also on the active ingredients of the elements of the electrode core and the coating butt jointed aluminum alloy profiles. Therefore, the electrode should be selected according to the base metal of the repaired part and the standard specification. Generally, the electrode should be selected according to the following specifications.

What are the regulations for welding of industrial waste gas treatment equipment?

(1) The general requirements for structural mechanical properties are as follows:

a. When welding low and high carbon steel and ferritic stainless steel, electrodes with the same tensile strength can be used;

b. For the parts whose bearing capacity or destructive bearing capacity is changed by welding replacement, the electrode with the tensile strength of the coated metal composite material is slightly lower than the tensile strength of the base metal;

c. For the base metal with poor forgeability, such as low carbon steel, the butt layer method should be used for welding. Note that high carbon steel should be repaired by welding and spray welding, and it is uncomfortable to cooperate with structural welding;

d. The welding of base metals with different raw materials should be based on the base metal with low tensile strength.

(2) The physical and analytical chemical properties generally require the following:

a. For welding of parts working under high temperature or low temperature specifications, welding electrodes of corresponding heat-resistant types should be selected, such as wear-resistant steel plate electrodes and austenitic low-temperature electrodes for high aluminum alloy profiles;

b. When selecting spray welding electrodes, try to identify the type of damage and the type of component erosion, and select electrodes with effective components and properties (especially compressive strength) that are relative to each other.

(3) The general requirements for the welding conditions of parts are as follows:

a. If the part has a complex shape, large thickness or large structural bending strain, the thermal stress after welding is very large, which is easy to cause cracks. Try to use low hydrogen type electrodes with good crack resistance, super wear-resistant electrodes or chemical type electrodes.

b. When there are oil stains and rust stains in the welding parts and cannot be removed, a pH electrode with strong oxidizing property should be used, such as an iron-calcium type electrode.

c. It is not easy to rotate for large and medium-sized parts. When the welding is in the overhead welding and overhead welding positions, all welding electrodes should be selected.
